About
I am passionate about working with acupuncture to boost natural fertility and support clients through the emotional and physical impact of IVF. Diagnosed with endometriosis and polycystic ovaries myself at the age of 23, I have first-hand experience of various stages of fertility treatment, culminating in IVF. This has left me with a deep, open-hearted appreciation for how the whole fertility thing can make people feel and a determination to make a difference to others who are treading this path. Acupuncture has so much to offer, but one of the most important aspects to me is the way it can be used to help ease the emotional stress that so frequently accompanies fertility issues.

I hold a degree in Acupuncture and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I am also on the steering committee for the Acupuncture Fertility Network, a small nationwide group of acupuncturists with advanced post-graduate training in the field of fertility acupuncture. Over the years I have undertaken numerous additional courses covering different aspects of fertility and antenatal support such as the use of acupuncture in the treatment of endometriosis and PCOS, to support IVF.

I am also an advocate for the use of acupuncture throughout pregnancy; it is a wonderfully gentle, supportive and non-toxic therapy to use for a wide range of health and wellness issues ranging from hay fever and migraines to antenatal anxiety and depression. Prebirth acupuncture is a specific series of treatments at the end of pregnancy to help to prepare the body for labour and delivery.

I know that not everyone will experience a rainbow at the end of their journey, but I know that the right acupuncturist can make this difficult journey so much more bearable. Acupuncture can help support someone dealing with grief and depression; I also have training in body centred psychotherapy which has a strong influence on how I am within the clinic space. This combination of skills enables me to offer empowering, compassionate support, wherever the journey goes.
