Ranjit has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years. He has been a dedicated student of Max Strom www.maxstrom.com who he met whilst living and working in Los Angeles. He trained with Max Strom who teaches an uncomplicated and accessible approach to yoga, firmly rooted in a belief that yoga postures accompanied by a strong breath practice open up the body as well as the mind. As an avid runner, tennis and squash player, Ranjit has found yoga to be hugely beneficial not only to his physical performance but also to his mental well-being in all facets of his life.

He also brings an uncomplicated approach to his teaching and he does not see the the ability to be able to twist your body like a contortionist as the ultimate goal of yoga! His practice endeavours to simplify postures by supporting every level of ability with the use of blocks, blankets and straps. Ranjit’s aim is for you to leave class grounded with a better knowledge of your bodies potential and challenges. He encourages a non-competitive environment and seeks to support each and everyone’s unique path of discovery through postures accompanied by a strong breathing practice.
