Hayley Johns

hayley johns smallHayley was introduced to Yoga as a teen, seeking an antidote to insomnia and anxiety and it has been a constant in her life since. She’s been a serious and committed yoga nerd for over half her life and has been sharing her passion through teaching, since qualifying with Lara Baumann in 2008. Leaving the bright lights of West End Theatre and moving to teaching full time, continuing her education with Seane Corn, Annie Carpenter and more recently Bo Forbes. Studying at incorporating psychology and neurobiology in to the practice.

Hayley works with professional athletes, dancers, performers and everyday folk. Improving performance, injury prevention, healing and stress management. She teaches a mindful Vinyasa Flow and all classes incorporate breath work, dynamic movement centred around core awareness, bad jokes, therapeutic release, deep sweet relaxation and meditation. Hayley is guided constantly by the shifting rhythms of the natural world and the wisdom it has to show us, seasonally tailoring her classes, she wholeheartedly believes that we can all benefit from a little more moon observance!

Aside from this occasional talk of the moon she is completely down to earth and light hearted. Honouring the lineage and the tradition of Yoga, but making it her own and encouraging her students to do the same. Guiding you to embody your own inner awareness and make this practice your own, moving towards becoming completely present, at home in your body; reclaiming your birthright of intuition and resilience.
