Max has always had a strong interest in competitive sports from a young age, particularly rugby and rowing. This naturally developed into a successful personal training career where for ten years, he enhanced clients’ sports performance and injury recovery, working in Australia and then London. During this time, he learnt from industry leaders in the fields of strength and conditioning, body composition and exercise rehabilitation, for shoulder and lower back pain and pain management. Max had the pleasure of helping a variety of clients, ranging from everyday professionals experiencing aches, pains and various illnesses to competitive athletes experiencing mild to severe injuries.
Max’s experience as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist sparked his passion to learn more about the human body and injury rehabilitation. As a result, he decided to study to become an Osteopath and graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London with a Master’s degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy.
Max’s primary aim is to help all clients live a pain-free life by using effective treatment and rehabilitation protocols to improve function and performance.
“I strive to provide a comprehensive service by identifying common causes of injuries and creating individual treatment plans to reduce pain and improve function. I provide Osteopathic treatment, exercise and lifestyle rehabilitation advice, using up to date techniques and treatments in order to reduce further chances of injury.”
Max aims to constantly update and improve his knowledge and understanding through continual professional development in order to be at the forefront of the industry and provide an unparalleled service of excellence for all patients. He hopes to take part in courses within the fields of musculoskeletal and sports medicine in the future, in order to better his knowledge and skill set.
