Anja’s yoga teaching background has influenced her development and passion for the healing powers of massage. Over the years as a vinyasa yoga teacher she has noticed that her students were in need of a deeper release mostly from stress and tension accumulating in their bodies on a daily basis.
Anja is a therapeutic, deep tissue and pregnancy massage practitioner. In her work, Anja integrates the knowledge and experience of adjusting and bringing body into its natural alignment with the techniques of deep tissue and remedial massage. She merges her extensive knowledge of a human body in movement, yoga, anatomy and physiology both western and eastern approaches to deliver the most appropriate and beneficial treatment for her clients.
She works intuitively using the appropriate pressure and choice of individually tailored techniques not only to elevate the symptoms but also to treat the causes of underlying issues. Her treatment might incorporate some passive stretching methods, tailored and gentle exercises as well as restorative and relaxation modules to relieve the pain, restore natural flexibility and movement, soothe the mind and uplift the body.
