24th – 26th January : Ayurveda Workshop with Jono Condous

We are thrilled that Jono Condous will be teaching with Bridget Woods Kramer on the ATT Ayurveda Module.  This workshop is open to people on the ATT and for those who want to deepen their understanding of Ayurveda as part of their own yoga practice. We will be looking at the Doshas: Vata, Pitta & Kapha  – what is your core constitution, how to practice to balance your constitution, how to vary your practice according to the seasons and important nutritional advice.

Jono fell in love with Ayurveda while studying Yoga in India in 1998. He has completed a 4 year degree at Middlesex in Complementary Health – Ayurveda, and is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor. He has undergone clinical internships in Sri Lanka and India and is a member of The Ayurvedic Practitioner’s Association. Beyond Stretching: Human Physiology and the Benefits of Yoga for Health.

Ellen will be back after a hugely successful workshop last May to teach Therapeutic Yoga. She will give students an in-depth understanding of common conditions and injuries that yoga students often have, and how yoga can help in the healing process. Ellen will share her extensive collection of therapeutic modalities, which includes adaptions of yoga poses, observation and hands-on work, and the use of small rubber balls to massage the body.  Enhance your knowledge and confidence to help yourself and your students to move out of pain and into strength and freedom with these very practical workshops.
